Hello, my name is Kenneth Cutler from Camden, S.C. My wife Anne and I have just recently acquired a property in Edisto Island South Carolina. Let us first start by saying, that it's not normal practice for us to take the time to write about a real estate transaction, this is the exception! We felt it only fair to share this enjoyable experience with other potential buyers.
Anne had never visited Edisto Island. So one day I casually expressed the beauty of Edisto to her in conversation. She quickly became interested in a possible weekend visit to the Island. My description of Edisto, the large Live Oaks, Spanish Moss, personable people, slow pace and laid back atmosphere was too much for her to let pass by. So we hurried to the computer to research possible accommodations for a weekend we thought might be available. Just by chance, we typed in Edisto Island South Carolina and came up with Edisto Real Estate Company. I called and talked one of their agents Cindy Hartpence for possible rentals, not only was I delighted to talk to Cindy I found out that she and her husband Mike were property owners in the area as well. Without delay Cindy communicated with us about possible rentals, discussed the pros and cons about what we were looking for and what might best suit our needs.
After confirming accommodations with Cindy, Anne and headed to Edisto for the weekend, with no intentions, just a pleasant weekend to relax and enjoy the time off from our hectic business in Camden. We arrived for the weekend and Anne immediately feel in love with Edisto. We contacted Cindy as soon as possible and she went to work locating potential properties for us to consider buying. Insight of several weeks and numerous e-mails we soon narrowed it down to handful of homes. I had visited Edisto years ago, but had forgotten how absolutely beautiful and refreshing it was. To still find a place stuck in time, remote, but still able to access Charleston S.C. in only 40 minutes.
I can't begin to tell how much we appreciate the efforts of Cindy Hartpence and Marie Bost and the agency. These people were solely responsible for finding us a home in the marsh area called the Neck. Anne and I could not be more pleased with the professionalism demonstrated by Cindy and Marie. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts. We are extremely pleased with our newly acquired property and strongly recommend that if you are interested in visiting the Island of Edisto contacting Cindy at Edisto Real Estate Company. We feel compelled to write this, not often are we afforded this opportunity in today's world. We felt this was truly deserved.
